What we do
Interchange Sheffield is an emotional well-being service for children and young people under 25. We provide a range of interventions aimed at supporting their emotional well-being and mental health, including counselling, art therapy, therapeutic group work, resilience building and mental health aware-ness raising workshops. We are deeply committed to young people’s involvement. We provide participation opportunities for young people, and our service user group, the Mental Health Ambassadors, helps to steer our organisation.
For young people
Are you a young person looking for information about counselling, or about how Interchange can help you?
Here you can download our counselling leaflet, which will explain all about your journey with us. It was written and created by our Mental Health Ambassadors, who are young people that may have been through counselling, or are passionate about improving the mental health of young people. So they know what you may be going through and understand how you may feel.
We have produced a leaflet for young people which you can view and download below.
There may be occasions where, due to staff capacity and the demand on our services, we may have to close one or more of our waiting lists to new referrals. We strive to ensure our waiting lists remain open, and if at any point we need to close our waiting list(s) temporarily this information will be published here.
